To This Day

To This Day, is a very inspirational video, which almost brought me to tears the first time I watched it. The writer and performer of the peom, Shane Koyczan, is a spoken word poet, who was bullied in school. He has done many poems like this, and performs talks at many events.

This video specifically, makes me feel very emotional. I went to elementary school in a very protected and safe environment. All the kids in my grade were nice, and were always supportive of anyone who was having a hard time. This video just makes me realize that not everyone was so lucky. it makes me appreciate how lucky I was soo much more.
